Performance Hand Therapy

Hand therapy helps you regain maximum use of your hands after injury, surgery, or the onset of disease.  What puts Performance Hand Therapy ahead of the pack are our board-certified hand therapists.  Becoming a certified hand therapist is no easy feat - after obtaining a college degree in occupational therapy or physical therapy, the candidate must obtain a minimum of five years experience working in the specialized field before even being eligible to take the Hand Therapist Certification exam.  Few make it to the end, but those that do are the elite – they are extremely qualified at getting you on the road to full recovery.  Needless to say, Performance’s hand therapists have gone the distance. 

Performance’s Hand Therapy division specializes in overuse, postsurgical, and ergonomic issues affecting the hand, wrist, and arm. 

Hand therapy is as much an art as it is a science - every case is different and everyone has unique needs. So, our hand therapists develop custom treatment plans for each patient – tailored to his or her lifestyle and goals. If necessary, we even create custom splints to protect healing structures after surgery and  improve functional hand use. Plus, we provide hands-on, progressive treatment and work in close collaboration with your physician to ensure efficient, superior care, and to get you back to activity as soon as possible.
